Latest South OTT releases of the week

Maa Inti Bangaaram (JioHotstar)
One of the biggest OTT premieres this week is Maa Inti Bangaaram, which starts streaming on JioHotstar on July 17. Directed by B.V. Nandini Reddy, the Telugu action-comedy stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role.

The film made history by becoming the first female-led Telugu film to cross Rs 100 crore at the worldwide box office. Samantha plays a former assassin who leaves her violent past behind to begin a peaceful family life. However, when old enemies return, she is forced to fight once again to protect those she loves. The Telugu version will stream first, while dubbed versions are expected to be released later.

Second Love (JioHotstar)
Reality show fans have something new to look forward to with Second Love, which premieres on JioHotstar on July 13. Hosted by Ramya Krishnan and Shrutika Arjun, the Tamil dating reality show brings together 12 contestants, six men and six women, who have experienced heartbreak, failed relationships or divorce. Living together in a luxurious villa away from the outside world, they get another opportunity to find love, rebuild trust and start a new chapter in life.

The Malayalam family drama Pavithram returns with its second season on JioHotstar. Directed by Sunil Kariattukara, the series stars Sreekanth Sasikumar and Surabhi Santosh as Vedha and Vikram.
