Telegram briefly vanished from Apple App Store search results worldwide. Netizens immediately voiced confusion, and a wave of speculation floated online. The messaging platform later confirmed that the app had been restored.
The removal, however, coincided with a viral post from Telegram’s official X account that joked, “crazy that we’re gonna get GTA 6 before the full Epstein files.”
The timing led some social media users to speculate that the app’s disappearance was because of the post. However, neither Apple nor Telegram has provided any evidence to support that claim.
One netizen on X shared an iShowspeed meme and wrote, “This is why they took you off the App Store, man.”
