Latest OTT releases of the week (May 18 – May 24)

System – Amazon Prime Video
System will premiere globally on Amazon Prime Video on May 22. Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, the courtroom drama stars Sonakshi Sinha, Jyotika and Ashutosh Gowariker.

The film follows two women from very different backgrounds, an ambitious public prosecutor and a simple courtroom stenographer, who come together to expose corruption and loopholes within the legal system. The trailer has already sparked curiosity among fans for its intense courtroom scenes and emotional drama.

The Mummy – Prime Video, Apple TV, Google Play
The Mummy arrives on May 19 and will be available to rent on Prime Video, Apple TV and Google Play. Directed by Lee Cronin, the horror film stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa and May Calamawy.

The story centres on a journalist whose daughter mysteriously returns home eight years after disappearing in the Egyptian desert. What initially feels like a miracle slowly turns into a disturbing supernatural nightmare for the family. Known for Evil Dead Rise, Cronin once again dives into psychological horror mixed with emotional trauma.

Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War – Prime Video
Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War begins streaming on Prime Video from May 20 in India. John Krasinski returns as CIA operative Jack Ryan alongside Michael Kelly, Wendell Pierce and Sienna Miller.

The new season follows Ryan as he gets pulled back into the world of covert missions after uncovering a dangerous conspiracy involving a rogue black-ops unit. Packed with action, political tension and espionage, the series promises another gripping chapter for fans.

Desi Bling – Netflix
The upcoming show is all set to premiere on Netflix on May 20. The reality show features Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash among a group of wealthy Indian expats living in Dubai.

The series explores luxury lifestyles, glamorous parties, personal rivalries and social drama inside Dubai’s elite circles. From high-end fashion to relationship tensions, the show promises a mix of glamour and chaos.

Madhuvidhu – SonyLIV
Madhuvidhu starts streaming on SonyLIV on May 22 in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. Starring Sharaf U Dheen and Kalyani Panicker, the family comedy revolves around a young man who struggles to find a bride because of his unusual and chaotic family environment. The film brings humour with emotional family moments and received decent reviews during its theatrical release.

Satrangi: Badle Ka Khel – ZEE5
Satrangi: Badle Ka Khel premieres on ZEE5 on May 22. Set in rural Uttar Pradesh, the revenge drama follows Bablu Mahto, the son of a Launda Naach performer, who lives a double life while plotting revenge against powerful families that humiliated his father for years. The series explores caste politics, social stigma and survival in a deeply divided society.

Ladies First – Netflix
Ladies First releases on Netflix on May 22. The satirical comedy stars Sacha Baron Cohen and Rosamund Pike. The film imagines a reversed world where women hold social and political power while men struggle to find their place. Bringing comedy with social commentary, the film takes a humorous look at gender roles, ego and privilege.
