What time is Trump’s address to the nation today? What will he announce? Here’s what we know so far

On Wednesday (April 1), President is set to address the nation in a much-anticipated speech amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. Unlike the usual process with POTUS addresses to the nation, this was not officially announced by the White House. Instead, Karoline Leavitt teased it in a Truth Social post.

The scarcity of details from the President at the press conference has further increased the interest in it. Amid that, reports citing sources in the White House say that Trump will speak on the conflict, even though the Trump administration has not teased a major announcement.

So, when to watch the announcement? What to expect from it? In this article, we will look into all the crucial details surrounding what is being dubbed as Trump’s first prime-time address since he spoke at the State of the Union Address.

What Times Is Trump’s Announcement Today?

Karoline Leavitt said in a social media post that Trump’s announcement on April 1 (Wednesday) will start at 9pm ET. As noted before, it will be his first prime-time address since the US-Israeli strikes in Iran triggered a Middle East-wide escalation.

Mountain Time (MT): 7pm

Pacific Time (PT): 6pm

Alaska Time (AKT): 5pm

Hawaii Time (HST): 3pm

Trump has a on Wednesday, starting as early as 8am ET with the Executive Time, followed by an interview with Reuters at 9am ET. He then reached the Supreme Court for the birthright citizenship hearing. He returned to the White House for an Easter Lunch at 12:30pm ET.

At 3pm ET he has a policy meeting, followed by the address to the nation at 9pm ET.
